THEME: Demystifying the mandate of Audit Committees towards the protection of public interest
The growing economic interdependence of countries and integration of national markets into one global economy has posed significant challenges to oversighting authorities and institutions worldwide. It is becoming more imperative for the responsible bodies that includes legislative authorities to foster better bilateral and multilateral approaches when dealing with tax policies and governance practices that are largely influenced by the emerging international taxation issues.
Awareness of available policy options for negotiation and current development in challenges relating to international taxation are increasingly becoming crucial hence, the urgent need to build sustainable capacity to the concerned oversighting authorities especially the policy making institutions.
In our extended role as a capacity builder for public sector, Kenya School of Revenue Administration (KESRA) offer to fulfil this mandate by offering the program; Tax, Governance and Strategy course which will enhance capacity building for Boards, top executives, Directors and the Heads of departments as the target audience with the aim of sharpening their skills, improving competency that enable their ability in policy decision making for effective service delivery.
The course is mainly designed to:
Understand the modern corporate Governance Practices and its impact in public sector performance.
Gain knowledge in Emotional intelligence; The new science of Leadership.
Broaden and deepen participants understanding on strategies for leading successful change initiatives.
Anticipate and address challenges in financial, people skills, Data & Analytics, performance management and strategic planning to achieve Sustainability.
Appreciate the role of taxation in a country’s reputation and competitiveness

The COVID Travel Pass+ is inbound travel insurance for tourists visiting Malaysia. All foreign nationals travelling to Malaysia are encouraged to have COVID-19 insurance.
COVID Travel Pass need to be purchase by non-Malaysians who plan to travel to Malaysia and anywhere within Malaysia. The travel insurance should be valid for at least 21 Days.
The travel insurance need to have the followings and accepted by Malaysian Hospital.
Inpatient Medical Expenses.
Emergency Medical Evacuation and Repatriation.
24 hours Travel Assistance Services.
Travelers are just required to download and activate the MySejahtera application, as well as complete the Pre-Departure Form through the “Traveler” function in the app.
Fully vaccinated travelers are not required to undergo quarantine upon entering, and will only have to take two COVID-19 detection tests. The first will be an RT-PCR done at least two days before departure, and the second test will be an RTK-Ag (professional) test done within 24 hours of arrival.

Kenya nationals do not need a visa to visit Malaysia for a stay of up to 30 days.
