Course Overview
This course introduces the concepts of sports management focusing on sports governance, the tax regime for sports and the gaming industry that include the sports betting sector in reference to the betting, lotteries and gaming Act.
The course intends to present an overview of the recent tax policy developments in the industry and provide in-depth-coverage of mainstream tax aspects on Corporate taxes, Excise Taxes, advance & withholding taxes, VAT, Digital Service Tax and capital allowances & deductions among other tax issues considered critical and impactful within the sports and gaming domain.
