Upon admission what is the registration process?

Once you have received your admission letter, you are required to pay at least 60% of the semester’s fee, visit the institution with the bank slip / M-Pesa confirmation code and original Certificates as per the application for verification.

When should I expect feedback after application?

  • Two weeks after the deadline of application

What are the application requirements?

To apply for our programmes you will need the following:

  1. Application fees Kshs. 2,000
  2. Copy of your ID
  3. Certified copies of your academic certificates (KCSE and above)
  4. 2 recent passport size photos
  5. Complete the application form with all information required.

What are the modes of study?

Our programmes are designed to fit your life/work commitments through different modes of study.

  1. Full Time:  Day: 9:00am-4:00pm
  2. Part Time:  Evening: 5:30pm-8:30pm and Weekends: 8:00am-6:00pm
  3. e-Learning platform

Where is the school located?

We have three campuses;

  • Nairobi KESRA Centre, next to Park Inn by Radisson, Westlands, along Waiyaki Way
  • Mombasa KESRA Centre, along Nyali Links Road
  • e-Learning platform

How often is enrolment for programmes?

There are three intakes in a year;

  • January
  • May
  • September

How many units are there per course?

Programmes at different levels and specialization have varying number of units as outlined:

  • Certificate  :  12 units
  • Diploma :      18 units
  • Postgraduate Diploma :  12 units
  • Masters:        18 units

What is the duration of the course?

Certificate 1 Year 3 Semesters
Diploma 2 Years 6 Semesters

Master’s 2 Years 5 Semesters

What are the course requirements?

Certificate Courses

KCSE Certificate with a minimum aggregate of C- (Minus) with D+ in Mathematics and English

Diploma Courses

KCSE Certificate with a minimum aggregate of C (plain) with C- in Mathematics and English.

Postgraduate Diploma Courses

Bachelor’s Degree (2nd class Honors) in any discipline recognized by the Commission for University Education (CUE) or an Institution recognized by JKUAT Senate.

Master’s Programme

Master’s in Tax and Customs Administration (with specialization in Tax or Customs), at least 2nd class upper division degree in a business or related area from a University recognized by the Commission for University Education (CUE).
